Those Who Know, Know the Irony

Of my choice of fortunes just now from the fortune cookie pile in the kitchen:

"Including others in your life will bring you great happiness."

and

"The happiest circumstances are close to home."

Save me from this miserable irony, some friend who knows, please...

I'd be a friend but obviously I know nothing.

Yeah, and that one is too much to get into. Any minute now I'm going back to posting about politics and media only. I'll take a cue off my local navel-gazing blogger friend, who thinks she needs to stop blogging possibly altogether because the examined life is not worth blogging.

Regardless, since I have no idea what I'm saying here, I'll just send a little shout out to a Canadian friend with meningitis. Clearly, it's meningitis...

yes. slutty puppets do wonders. give it a go next time. in the meantime, drink some whiskey. at least, that's what the brits i lived with over there used to make me do when i felt sick. it was their first line of defense for most things, actually. hm.

I disagree. Everything is still as secret as you wanna be. (See? I even submerged my true grammatical self.)

As for the fates, fuck em. Which could be the problem...
