I saw something tonight I’ve never seen before in a lifetime in New York:
A rat, diving vertically into a crack in the middle of a sidewalk.
It walks, it stops, it dives.
Nose, torso, rat ass, tail to follow.
Scurry, scurry, scurry.
Gone.
