from the looks of things, the F wasn't far away...
the train gods were on our side. for once.
actually, though, if you note the slightly different angle from which i took the second picture, you can see that i had enough time between the two shots to move my position. the couple appeared to shift while i was scooting around a woman who suddenly blocked my view of them on the platform. i became relatively frantic--i was scared they would unhook. alas, they resetteled their heads and lowered their arms and the train came, fortuitously, mercifully, lustfully.
